   Support of the carpe diem! planning tool: 
   The planning tool carpe diem! is a valuable tool for the scheduling and room planning of more than 3,500 courses and exams. Central planning via carpe diem! enables RWTH Aachen University to create a teaching and examination schedule that combines and reconciles constantly increasing student numbers, the best possible utilization of scarce space capacities, and the interconnectedness of courses.

   Support of the examination and course scheduling of the faculties: 
   We are available for questions from the examination and course schedulers in the faculties regarding central course and exam planning. We are also in close contact with the SLCM Coordination, the IT Center and the Facility Management of our university.

   Training courses for the carpe diem! planning tool:
   Training courses for central course and examination planning with carpe diem! are offered for each planning phase. The training dates are chosen so that they are at the beginning of a planning phase during the planning data entry. The aim of the training courses is to provide the participants with basic knowledge on the respective topic. In addition, we ask participants to bring concrete questions and problems to the training and maintain and, if necessary, optimize the planning data of the courses or examinations they supervise.

   Documentation for the carpe diem! planning tool: 
   To ensure the operation of carpe diem!, we provide manuals for course and examination planning. In addition, we work together with the Studies and Teaching Process Management and the SLCM on the documentation of the processes around the planning tool carpe diem!
